## Front-End Developer (UI/UX Focused) ## Summary Create efficient, immersive, and user-friendly interfaces. ## Job Location/Meetings This is a remote position. The only requirements are a stable internet connection and the ability to attend online meetings during business hours. Sometimes, you may be required to meet on-site for large design sessions. Software Logistics has two scheduled team meetings. Depending on the project, there may be additional regularly scheduled meetings. ## Typical Projects * Modernize specific areas of a client's existing application. * Create a completely new user interface for an existing website or service. ## Responsibilities * Work in collaboration with the Team Lead, internal software developers, and client software developers, or work independently. * Produce clean, efficient, functional code, markup, and styling based on the client’s specifications. * Integrate styling systems and/or frameworks into third-party software programs. * Participate in requirements/task analysis. * Provide work estimates based on task specifications/requirements. * Verify changes made to websites and programs. * Be proficient in troubleshooting, debugging, and/or upgrading existing UI elements in websites and software. * Recommend and execute improvements to UI elements in client software systems. * Work in a structured, yet flexible environment, while contributing to the direction of the company and how we develop software. * Communicate with staff on any administrative changes in project status, due dates, etc. * Training, as necessary. * Maintain time in an accurate manner in NuvIot ## Requirements * 2+ years experience as a front-end developer, UI/UX engineer, or similar role. * Familiarity with front-end frameworks (Angular, ReactJS, VueJS, etc.) and design/architectural patterns. * Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Typescript, and Cascading Style Sheets. * Knowledge of REST architecture. * Bachelor’s degree in Digital Arts and Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. ## What You'll Get * Driven team members from diverse backgrounds with strong company culture. * Discovery, we’re always evolving – our team members are constantly striving to learn something new, which we embrace! * Ability to have a significant impact on customer and product work. * Competitive pay. * Commuter benefits: We're fully remote! * The opportunity to work with some of the latest tech! * One of our primary offerings is modernizing clients' platforms – this means we're constantly monitoring and utilizing some of the latest technology. * Additional perks and company benefits – check our website under Company Benefits.
