## Technical Business Analyst ## Summary If we don't have a good idea of where we're going, we'll never get there. As a business analyst, you'll be in charge of plotting the course on tasks large and small, and helping interpret the vision of the business into something that developers can implement. ## Job Location/Meetings This is a remote position. The only requirements are a stable internet connection and the ability to attend online meetings during business hours. Sometimes, you may be required to meet on-site for large design sessions. Software Logistics has two scheduled team meetings. Depending on the project, there may be additional regularly scheduled meetings. ## Typical Project * Work with the stakeholder to define and document the vision in the form of our "Why" in our project management system. The "Why" will be what we come back to as we evolve our definition. ## Responsibilities * Define and interpret business requirements/rules from the stakeholder and/or Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the planning phase to the SL development team on all projects/tasks. * Validate business requirements/rules with the stakeholder. * Document and validate expected outcomes in NuvIoT from business rules/acceptance criteria for individual tasks. * Maintain Backlog with Task Lead. * Work with developers, communicating criteria and status changes. * Attend meetings with stakeholders and SMEs regularly. * Maintain continuous communication with the team regarding updates, changes, additions, corrections, and completion of project tasks. * Be an analytical thinker – understand difficulties/issues, and analyze and resolve them. * Be comfortable with light code analysis and technical diagrams. ## Requirements * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. * Previous experience in a highly technical business analyst and/or technical analyst position. * Proficient in different analytical techniques, including Interface Analysis, Feasibility Analysis, or SWOT Analysis, is a plus. * Comfortable in a fast-paced environment. ## What You'll Get * Driven team members from diverse backgrounds with strong company culture. * Discovery, we’re always evolving – our team members are constantly striving to learn something new, which we embrace! * Ability to have a significant impact on customer and product work. * Competitive pay. * Commuter benefits: We're fully remote! * The opportunity to work with some of the latest tech! * One of our primary offerings is modernizing clients' platforms – this means we're constantly monitoring and utilizing some of the latest technology. * Additional perks and company benefits – check our website under Company Benefits.
